Hot off the presses, Panasonic has today announced three new ToughBook Business-Rugged laptops that'll show you how it's done! The Panasonic ToughBook F8, T8 and W8 laptops each have some special features on offer, but all are built for both durability and performance.
The ToughBook F8 laptop (pictured) is a 14.1-inch thin-and-light laptop featuring a 2.2-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor; 1GB RAM that's expandable to 4GB; and a 160GB shock-mounted HDD; 802.11a/b/g/n; Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR; Gobi mobile broadband; and a DVD Multi drive. The ToughBook F8 laptop retails for $2,499.
The ToughBook T8 laptop, touted as the "tablet alternative" features a 12.1-inch, 1,024-by-768-pixel anti-glare touchscreen; a 1.2-GHz ultra-low voltage Intel Core 2 Duo processor; 1GB RAM expandable to 4GB; a 120GB shock-mounted HDD; 802.11a/b/g/n; Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR; and Gobi mobile broadband wrapped in a 3.3-pound package. The ToughBook T8 laptop retails for $2,099.
